Outdoor Pursuits First Aid & Incident Management
This 16 hour practical course is designed for anyone who travels, lives or works in a remote geographical locations more than one hour from definitive medical care within the UK. Whether you are an avid mountaineer, Duke of Edinburgh participant, climber, kayaking, forestry worker, farmer or just love wild places, on our courses you will learn the first aid skills suitable for wilderness and remote areas. This qualification is suitable for lone and remote workers and will maintain the license to practice for those with Outdoor National Governing Body Instructor awards, such as Mountain Leader or Mountaineering Instructor. This qualification also satisfies the requirements for ALL British Canoe Union Awards.
It is also suitable for Duke of Edinburgh awarding centres for youth leaders, teachers and associated NGB awards and includes paediatric/early years protocols for those working with and leading young people.
Cost:
The cost of this course run at your premises for a group of up to 12 delegates is £999 inclusive.This includes a manual for each student and certification. There are no additional costs.
Candidates wishing to join an ''Open'' course will be charged at £135 per person.  |
