Outdoor & Adventure Pursuits First Aid

This course is available at your UK Mainland location for groups of up to 12 students at £999 fully inclusive.

We are able to offer this regulated Emergency First Aid at Work & Incident Management course in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, that is suitable for outdoor and adventure pursuits. Attendance on this course will validate all Mountain Training and BCU leadership and coaching awards. The course is run over two-days and includes both theory and practical sessions, in a relaxed atmosphere, designed to boost a candidate's confidence. This course is delivered by approved and qualified outdoor professionals many who work within the emergency and rescue services.
Assessment is carried out by the tutor throughout the course. Their is no final exam. Those students that have completed the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard will be awarded their certification that is valid for three-years*.

Re-qualification of this award is by attending this course at the three year point.
The cost of the two-day course is £999 fully inclusive when run at your venue in the UK. This is for a group of up to 12 candidates.There are no additional costs.

We also offer this course on a open basis to individuals who wish to enrol at just £125 per person attending our training venues that can be viewed on the left.

*Under the current guidelines it is 'strongly recommended' that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months - before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.

We currently deliver this training to many University Climbing, Mountaineering, Caving, Kayak/Canoe, Hillwalking Clubs, including Guilford University, UWE, Bristol University and organisations including Cardiff City Council, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, TwoFour Media, Princess Trust and many more organisations across the UK and Overseas.
