Pre-requisites:

A valid First Aid Certificate must be held to join this course or if you have suitable experience such as; Doctors, Nurses, Dental Staff, and other Medical/Clinical Staff who have a working knowledge of First Aid.

Suitable for:
This course (6 hours) develops a comprehensive range of skills in the administration of oxygen and/or analgesic gas and has been designed to meet the needs of those who work in the following areas: 

• Sports coach's 

• Leisure centre staff

• Outdoor instructors

• Expedition Leaders

• Doctors, Nurses, Dental & Clinical staff

This course would also be of interest to persons who may be considering joining an overseas expedition or those who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge further in pre-hospital care.

Course cost & certification:
We are able to deliver this qualification at your suitable training venue within the UK Mainland for up to 8 candidates for £699.

Open course costs for those wishing to attend this training at our partner venues: £99 per person.

Assessment is carried out by the course tutor and includes practical skills scenarios.

Certification is valid for 2 years.

• Basic Life Support (All ages)

• Resuscitation equipment
  

• Airway Management 

• Safety and storage of cylinders

• Preparation of cylinders

• Administration of oxygen and

• Administration of analgesic gas.
