Course aims: Successful Candidates will be awarded the 'Appointed Persons' certificate recognised by the HSE and will able to demonstrate the following. Assess and prioritise a medivcal help incident Summon the emergency services Deal with an unconscious casualty Control bleeding and manage shock To recognise and deal with a wide range of common injuries & illness's Maintain records Use and maintain medivcal help kits The Certificate will be valid for 3 years. full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved medivcal help at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (medivcal help) Regulations 1981. Once qualified, holders of this medivcal help at Work certificate can be used as medivcal helpers in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. As with all our courses we can adapt to suit a particular audience or organisation. The medivcal help At Work course is run over four days and includes both theory and practical sessions. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, including weekends.
